Seller and Business Details

Registration, licence and tax details (such as GST and cosmetic manufacturing licence details), where they apply, are shown on invoices and on product labels, and are available on request at the email address above.

Laws That Apply to Our Products

• Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Cosmetics Rules, 2020: govern the manufacture, labelling, sale and safety of cosmetics in India. Demorr hair care products are cosmetics and are not medicines.
• Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS): we follow BIS standards that apply to our products, where they are mandatory.
• Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011: set out what must be declared on packaged goods, such as the net quantity and the maximum retail price.
• Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: protect customers who buy online, including by requiring clear seller information, fair pricing and a grievance process.
• Information Technology Act, 2000 and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: govern how we handle electronic records and your personal data. See our Privacy Policy.
• Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016: apply to plastic packaging, and we aim to meet our responsibilities under them.

Information on Product Labels

Each Demorr pack carries the information that the law requires for cosmetic products, including, as applicable:

• the product name and what it is for;
• the full list of ingredients;
• the net quantity in ml or g;
• the maximum retail price (MRP), inclusive of all taxes;
• the name and address of the manufacturer or the person responsible for marketing;
• the batch number and the manufacturing and expiry dates, or a Period After Opening symbol;
• directions for use, cautions and storage advice;
• the country of origin; and
• a customer care contact.

Please check the pack for the final information. If something on a label is unclear, or looks different from what is shown on the Platform, write to us and we will help.

Product Claims

We make claims about our products, for example about ingredients or formula, only for products that are labelled in that way. Cosmetic claims describe how hair and scalp look and feel and do not mean that a product treats or cures a medical condition. See our Product Disclaimer and Ingredient Policy.

Prices, Taxes and Invoices

Prices on the Platform are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We issue an invoice for every order, which is sent to the email address you gave us. Please check that the details you entered at checkout are correct before you place the order, because an invoice cannot always be changed after it is issued.

Grievance Redressal

You can raise a complaint about a product, an order or the Platform with our Grievance Officer at spsbeautylabs23@gmail.com, with the subject line “Grievance”, or by post to our business address above. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or use the National Consumer Helpline.

Reporting a Product Safety Concern

If you think a Demorr product is unsafe, has caused a reaction, or is not what it should be, please stop using it and tell us the product name, batch number and what happened. We take every safety concern seriously and will look into it promptly.
